Stewart Wilkey DO, MPH
Dr. Stewart Wilkey practices family and preventive medicine in sunny Oceanside, CA. He began practicing at Surfside Medical Group (formerly Waring Court Pediatric and Adult Medical Group) in early 2020 before becoming the new owner in January, 2024. Dr. Wilkey’s focus is to help guide his patients in reaching their personal health goals through early/accurate diagnosis, addressing mental health, and by encouraging exercise, healthy eating, quality sleep and positive lifestyle choices.
Dr. Wilkey received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O) from A.T. Still University and a Masters of Public Health from Loma Linda University. He completed his residency at Loma Linda University where he was Chief Resident. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Primary Care Psychiatry at UC Davis. He is board certified in Family Medicine as well as Preventive Medicine. He is fluent in both English and Spanish (professional working proficiency).
After growing up in beautiful St. George, UT – Dr. Wilkey was drawn to North County San Diego because of its weather, its people… and its waves. Living here allows him to participate in all of his favorite activities including surfing, golfing, pickleball, mountain biking, and tennis. Dr. Wilkey lives in Oceanside with his lovely wife Evanne (Practice Director) and their 2 dogs, Milo and Remi. They love spending time with their families, going to concerts, traveling, and being active outdoors. They are thrilled to be a part of everything that makes North County so great.
